The Power of Engineers

Well, I just get back from a seminar by Encik Zullkifli Harun from Zull Design Autotronics. He is a great speaker. There are about 30 to 40 of us listening to his speech.

I always thought that it is hard to survive in engineering world, but he opened up my mind that engineering control the world. What else, he said knowledge is important. money could not buy knowledge but by our knowledge we could make money. Knowledge is not always about the certificate that you’ve got, knowledge is something that you learn because you like it, you want it, you use it and you see the power in it.

This world has many problem, all sort of problem. You could not run from it. Social problem, politics, health, industry, environment, and so on. Deal with every problem around you. Study all the things around. Turn it into opportunity to change your life.

What you have, you must share with others. Help everyone in need. Help your country. It is your responsibility to your society and country. If not, we are the last generation to survive in this beloved country.

Be good to your friends. Someday, you might need them. Because one day, one of your friends may be someone great, tauke, big boss, chief minister, chief executive and so on. They are the one who would help you instead of other strangers.

Time is not for us to waste. But that does not mean we could not enjoy our life. We must be productive, use the time efficiently.

In our life, we must always think. All the why and how. Be creative. Don’t kill your curiosity.

It was a nice seminar after all. If only I could share this feeling to others as well.
