My MSD – IIUM Smart Room

It’s getting very serious right now.

My Mechatronics System Design’s project is about Smart Room.

Everything about the project can be read directly through our group’s blog http://IIUMSmartRoom.blogspot.com/.

Right now, I need to come out with the specification of the product, configuration…..and design! Gosh! More and more calculation to do…

What do this project is all about:

  • A classroom. A smart classroom!
  • Automated lights and fans. It will switch on/off depends if the room is occupied or not.
  • Dimmed/off the front light when the projector is on.
  • +/- : A counter to count the person in the room (in/out).
  • +/- : Maybe will consider to add some other features.

Group members: Zen, Wer, Shinobi, Bg bil, Tun.

    you think so??? i tot its only like a play-it-safe project. byk ilak project..huhuhu… everyone goes for a little automation like “penyidai”. let save something kewl for FYP rite? haha…

    yes.. i am very serious. kadang2 kita sibuk carik topic yang gempak walhal dr segi practicality nya sikda atau kurang. sedangkan your project tajuknya berbunyi simple tetapi sgt relevant dan practical …

    jujurnya to me, it isnt a play it safe project kawanku, zen. :)

    lemme give you a scenario. contohnya brand apple buatan china. kita mungkin ada though “apa class made in china” cus sidak imitate technology ajak. but the thing is, sekurang2nya sidak leh imitate the technology. sedangkan malaysia gik sik berkebolehan to imitate…

    maaf jika kmk out of topic.. hehehe. sapa your advisor?

      hehe..mena padah ktk ya farah.. well, tok project untuk subject Mechatronics System Design under Dr Wahyudi. so everything is on your own. subject tok ngaja tentang how to manage project n everything else nya padah, kita dah blaja. design dlm TOM n DOM, modeling n control in SD n CS, programming microcontroller in mechatronics workshop…n so on. wah, sem yg sgt busy farah!
